Our good friends over at Droid-Life seem to have come across some juicy information about the release of the much-awaited Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD, which has been shared on their Twitter timeline.
We had heard in the past that Moto and Verizon may have delayed the release towards the end of November due to antenna issues with the device, however, according to the latest rumour the Droid Razr Maxx HD seems to be headed towards an October 18th release.
If this turns out to be true, users should have a treat lined up for them before they embark on the holiday season. The Droid Razr Maxx HD sports a 4.7″ 720 Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 32GB of internal storage with support for up to 32GB microSD, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 3,300 mAh battery. It will run Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, and will receive an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean shortly after release.
There has been no official confirmation from Motorola or Verizon yet, on the release date or availability and pricing. So if it does make an entrance next week, would you be getting one? Be sure to let us know if you do.
