Moto X series will finally re-enter the smartphone market with Moto X4. The Moto X4 was in the news for some time now. Moto X4 is part of the 9 devices that Motorola is expected to launch this year. Out of these, few devices like Moto C/Plus, Moto Z2 Play have been announced already.
Moto X4 will feature 5.2-inch 1080p display coupled with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. It will be equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (microSD card supported).
In the imaging area, Moto X4 will flaunt dual rear camera of 12MP + 8MP. On the front side, there will be 16MP front camera. The device will be equipped with 3,000mAh battery and will run on Android Nougat.
Besides being water and dust resistant (IP68 rating), the smartphone will have a front mounted fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor besides unlocking the device also recognizes gestures. The gestures will duplicate the functionality of the on-screen navigation buttons.
The Moto X4 is expected to debut in the in the fourth quarter of 2017 and will get Google’s Project Fi compatibility.
