Motorola’s yet-to-be-official Moto X 2017 has been under the radar for quite some time now. Just a few hours ago Evan Blass revealed that the smartphone wouldn’t go with the Moto X 2017 moniker. Instead, it would be called as the Moto X4.
And now, we have what could be the official specs of the smartphone, courtesy a rumor coming in from China. If this rumor comes anywhere close to reality, the Moto X4 will feature a pretty good set of specifications.
According to the leak, the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s recently unveiled Snapdragon 660 chipset. There will be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage space under-the-hood.
The leak doesn’t shed any light on the size of the display, but it does mention that the display will have a 3D curved glass on top instead of the now-ubiquitous 2.5D glass. Also, unlike the rest of the smartphones from the company, the Moto X4 could feature a metal and glass sandwiched body.

That’s not it; there will be IP68 dust and water resistance rating, support for the company’s proprietary Turbo charging technology, and integration of Artificial Intelligence.
Yes, you read that right. Motorola finally seems to be jumping onto the Artificial Intelligence bandwagon with the Moto X4.
We expect to see more details regarding the smartphone surface online in the coming days. Meanwhile, do let us know your thoughts on the smartphone in the comments below.
