Motorola is rolling out a new firmware update to Moto G5 Plus units. The update weighs around 214MB and includes significant fixes.
Arriving as build number NPN25.137-67, the update brings stability improvements and fixes few bugs. It also tags along data traffic improvements as well enhances audio quality of video recording. Another notable change brought about by the update is altering the VoLTE icon in the status bar from VoLTE to 4G, as can be seen below in the screenshot.
The update is being rolled out over the air. In case you want to know if your Moto G5 Plus is eligible for the update or not, head to Settings > About device > System updates. At the same time, we would recommend you to charge your Motorola phone sufficiently before hitting the download button and get connected to a WiFi network for seamless installation.

Moto G5 Plus was launched in February during Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, alongside Moto G5. It flaunts an all-metal body with 5.2-inch Full-HD display. Rocking Android 7.0 Nougat, the phone packs in 2GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB native storage. Other features include Snapdragon 625 processor, 3,000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner. The imaging department is taken care of by 12MP and 5MP rear and front cameras respectively.
