New details have emerged regarding the type of camera on the upcoming Moto G5 Plus smartphone. According to a leak, the device will feature a Sony IMX362 sensor, with F1.7 aperture lens and phase detection auto-focus.

The rear facing camera, which is rumored to have a 12MP resolution, would also be able to record 4K videos in 30fps. A leaked image of the G5 Plus had recently surfaced that showed other specs of the device.

The camera on the Moto G4 Plus was a very good unit and it took some good photos in low light. Therefore, you can expect similar or better performance from the camera on the G5 Plus. Other smartphones with the IMX362 sensor include, the Asus Zenfone Zoom 3 and the Vivo XPlay 6.
