Motorola is rolling out a new firmware update to Moto G3 devices in Europe. The update installs the January security patch on Moto G3. Going by the company’s reputation in rolling out monthly updates, the late arrival of January security patch in the month of March hardly comes as a surprise to us.

The update arrives as build 24.216o.12.en.EU to Moto G3 in Europe and brings along regular bug fixes and system enhancements, other than the Android security updates. It is being rolled out as an OTA update and may take a while to appear on your Motorola device. To check for the update manually, head to Settings > About device > System updates.

It is important to note that before hitting the download button ensure that your phone is sufficiently charged and connected to a high speed WiFi network. This will help in seamless installation of the update.
