Motorola has new updates for the MetroPCS variants of the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play. The updates are not yet available for download, but the official support pages for the duo already have the release notes.
As per the changelogs, the two devices will soon receive updates that fix bugs and improve the stability of the software. Also, these updates have some improvements to the Metro Play app, where users will now receive tailored news feed in minus one screen.
The updates will be released over the air, but as noted, the rollout has yet to begin. We don’t know when MetroPCS will begin rolling out the update, but it should be available later this month.
Both the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play have Android Oreo out of the box, the same OS the latest rollout is based on. These two won’t be upgraded to Android Pie.
