It looks like Lenovo-owned Motorola has quietly launched the Moto E4 in India. Apparently, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and available for purchase in retail stores.
That being said, the company hasn’t confirmed if the smartphone has been made available in the offline channels officially just yet.
Motorola has been teasing the launch of E4’s bigger sibling, the Moto E4 Plus of late. Although a fixed date is not available currently, the company is expected to launch the Plus variant in India sometime this month.

The Lenovo-owned company had first unveiled the Moto E4 and E4 Plus last month. Both the handsets feature a design language similar to the Moto G5 series and have a fingerprint scanner at the front integrated into the home button.
Under the hood, it has a MediaTek MTK6737M chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable (up to 128GB) storage space. There’s an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. It comes with a 2,800mAh battery and boots Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
