The Moto E4 and E4 Plus were announced yesterday and both devices start out in the budget division. The smartphones have now made an appearance at WiFi Alliance. There’s isn’t much of a difference between the Moto E3 Power and the E4. Whereas the E4 Plus has a slightly better specsheet but still runs on the same processor. The smartphone was spotted a while back at TKDN too.

Motorola, driven by Lenovo, has been more intent on pursuing the lower end market ever since the company went out of Google’s hands. After seeing the Moto C, the OEM has now branched out next-gen E series too.

Motorola has a long way to go in terms of innovation this year. The flagship Moto Z2, hasn’t seen any noticeable difference save for the performance bump. And the rest of the lineup also followed suit with only moderate performance based upgrades.

The Moto E4 and E4 Plus are slated to hit Canadian shores on June 22 according to out latest report. The user base is looking forward to seeing a visual overhaul at least, even if there isn’t any game changing features built into their devices. But the company has failed to deliver that so far. We hope that’ll change soon in the long run.
