Last year, Motorola confirmed that the company will not commit to the monthly security patches for their smartphones. Well, for those of you who don’t know what the security patches are, there are the monthly updates which Google rolls out to keep the devices safe with the latest security tweaks. And now, after all these months, Motorola has how pushed the June security patch to the Moto C Plus. This is quite disappointing to see the updates being so slow since Google is probably already readying the September security patch.

Talking about this new security patch update, the Moto C Plus users to should have it by now as the company has made it available as an OTA update. Apart from the June security patch, the new update also brings a couple of other enhancements.

The update also brings Keystore update to ensure all the key types are protected by the hardware. And above all, the update also brings a lot of stability and performance improvements. However, do make a note that you cannot go back to the previous software version, once you have updated it with this one.
