Motorola has the release of all new Moto C series smartphones on the cards. Targeted at the entry level segment, the first two handsets to be introduced in this C series are the Moto C and the Moto C Plus. The names must have a rang a bell as specs and images of these two upcoming smartphones have already been spotted online. This time they have grabbed the headlines for appearing in the form of renders and 360 videos, which leaves very little for imagination about them.
The renders and 360 videos of Moto C and Moto C Plus were spotted on Android Authority which has published it in collaboration with OnLeaks. The renders show the devices in all angles possible painted in three colors viz Red, Black and Silver. The images are so vivid that imagining them in the fourth color option Gold isn’t very tough.

On the other hand, the two 360 videos show the Red Moto C and the Silver Moto C Plus with the only notable difference being the protruding rear camera bump clearly visible in the latter. The rear-mounted speaker, a headphone jack and micro-USB port on top is also seen in both the models. Also, both will have removable back panels, giving them the option to enhance features with Moto Mod accessories.
Moto C will be released in two versions- 3G and 4G. The difference between the two being the 3G one will use a 32-bit quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz and the 4G will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core chipset clocked at 1.1 GHz. Again, Moto C will be shipped with either 8GB ROM or 16GB ROM. Moto C Plus, on the other hand, will carry only 16GB ROM and 64-bit chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz.
The smartphones will sport 5-inch displays with 854 x 480 pixels on board the Moto C and 1,280 x 720 pixels toting the Moto C Plus screen. Both the devices will run Android Nougat out of the box, which is a great kick for an entry level smartphone. Coming to the memory, Moto C will pack in 1GB RAM while Moto C Plus will carry either 1GB or 2GB RAM, which will be market specific.

On the imaging front, Motorola has packed in 5MP and 8MP rear cameras on the Moto C and C Plus respectively. In case of the front camera, both will sport 2MP. Notably, the 3G Moto C will have fixed focus while the 4G version will come with auto-focus. Power comes courtesy a 2,350 mAh battery in Moto C while a decent 4,000 mAh battery keeps the lights on Moto C Plus.
