Monke need Bananite is a gathering-focused quest that becomes available once you reach the Forgotten Kingdom. Unlike most early tasks in The Forge, this one begins on a small offshore island rather than a main settlement, making it easy to miss. Although this material is uncommon and drops inconsistently, the quest is straightforward once you know where to farm and which rocks to target. Completing it provides an XP boost and cash, making it a valuable early quest for new World 2 players.
How to start
After reaching the Forgotten Kingdom for the first time, locate Monke on a small island southwest of the spawn point to initiate the quest.
Objective
- Bring Monke 30 Bananite

Step 3
You will be given options to hand over 1, 5, or 30 Bananite. Always choose 30. If you bring only 1 or 5, Monke will simply ask for more and the quest won’t progress.

Step 4
Head to Stonewake's Cross, equip your pickaxe and enter The Cave.

Step 5
Inside the cave, look specifically for rocks and larger boulders. Avoid small pebbles; they don’t drop Bananite. The material is uncommon, roughly a 1-in-30 chance per rock, so expect some farming time.

Step 6
You may encounter Delver Zombies inside the cave. Eliminate them as needed. They drop Essence.
