Xiaomi has just released an update schedule for their MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM rollout. Yes, finally, a stable version of MIUI 9 is rolling out globally for several smartphones, starting tomorrow.
MIUI 9 is the latest version of the Custom Android Nougat based ROM from Xiaomi. The update includes several new features and performance improvements that should make your device faster, more useful, and provide a better overall experience.

As per Xiaomi, the update will be available across 220 countries and in 56 languages. The ROM will include several system optimizations such as a new file system, better cache management, launch speed boost, WiFi boost, and more.
The update will also bring changes to the Notification Bar, a new Swap apps feature in Split-screen mode, 21 animated icons, improvements to the Photo Editor, updates to Mi Video and Mi Drop apps, new stickers, some exclusive stickers, themes and apps for India, and more.
MIUI 9 Update Schedule
According to Xiaomi, the MIUI 9 rollout starts tomorrow for the Redmi Note 4 and the Mi Max 2. Xiaomi will continue to seed the update in batches.
The second batch of devices to get the MIUI 9 update include; Mi Max 2, Redmi 4X, Mi 5, Mi Max, Redmi Yi, Redmi Yi Lite. These devices will start receiving the update in mid-November.
Finally, the third batch of devices include oldies such as the Redmi Note 3, Mi Max, Redmi 3S, Mi Note, Mi 2, Mi 3, and many more(see above image). These devices should see the update arrive in early December. Too bad MIUI 9 is still based on Android Nougat, and not Oreo.
