Microsoft has released a Preview of their Office applications for the tablets running on Android 5.0 Lollipop and above versions. The tablets measuring 10.1 inches and smaller with a processor based on x86 architecture will support the same.
Lately, it was announced that the Office apps including Word, PowerPoint and Excel have been made available for free to the Android users. This Preview release is a beta program and it will let the users to know what the firm has got in store for them.
To get the Preview release, you will have to apply through the testing group of Microsoft Office on Google+ requesting for permission. Once it is approved, you can access the app in the Google Play Store to get the Preview apps and not the stable ones.
This move from Microsoft will definitely keep the Office fans excited as they can use the application on their tablet running on the latest version of the Android platform.
