Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus are finally official. Both the smartphones were announced by the company a couple of hours ago at an event in China today.
In-line with the earlier rumors, the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus come with a 5.2-inch Full HD and 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED displays. There’s a secondary AMOLED display on the back with a contrast ratio of 10000:1 and a pixel density of 307 PPI.
Both the smartphones are available in two variants differentiated by the processor and onboard storage.
The Meizu Pro comes with either a MediaTek Helio P25 or Helio X30 SoC. The Helio P25 chip variant will set you back by CNY 2,880 (approximately $425) and gets you 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

The Helio X30 SoC variant, on the other hand, will cost you CNY 3,380 (approximately $500) while offering 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage.
The Meizu Pro 7 Plus is also available in two variants. However, both the variants are powered by Helio X30 SoC but differ in terms of RAM and storage: 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. While the former comes with a price tag of CNY 3,580 (approximately $530), the latter costs CNY 4,080 (approximately $604).
Both the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus will go on sale in China starting August 5. They should be made available in other markets as well, but at a later point in time.
