The Chinese consumer electronics company, Meizu and the mobile operator MTS Belarus have partnered up to sell the Meizu M5 in Belarus at a price of BYN 299.90. The amount can either be paid one time or in installments of BYN 31.90 per month. Customers who buy this device are also being offered 3GB internet as an added bonus.
The Meizu M5 is a competitively priced device powered by Mediatek MT6750 processor and Android Marshmallow out of the box. The device also features a 5.2-inch screen, 13 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel front camera for selfie purposes. The dual-sim device comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded via Micro-SD card upto 128GB and runs on a 3070mAh battery.
Meizu has been selective in launching of its devices, contrary to various other companies who focus on a worldwide launch, Meizu picks and chooses its markets, carefully evaluating where the launch would be most beneficial.
It could also be possible that Meizu simply does not manufacture enough handsets to ensure that all markets receive its products. With the company now partnered with MTS Belarus, we expect more devices to launch in the region under the same partnership.
The device is currently available on the shop.mts site with all the contract details further mentioned in detail.
