MediaFire is one of the best free file hosting service out there, as it allows free users to download files without any limitations on speed, time or number of files downloaded together, and is the file host of choice for many. And soon, MediaFire users will be able to upload and manage files on their account from their Android device, as the official MediaFire Android app will soon be making its way to the Google Play Store.

MediaFire posted screenshots on their blog of the iOS version of the app that was released today, while also mentioning that the Android version is coming soon. According to the blog post, “you can view your pictures and galleries, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs and you can listen to your audio files and play your video files, all directly in the app with your free or premium account.”

There’s no indication of exactly when the app will be released on the Play Store, but hopefully it’s soon. Stay tuned for more info on when it’s released.
