Samsung has taken its Galaxy SII line of android phones — which has been a massive hit already — to another level, with the addition of LTE 4G technology support. Samsung just announced its ‘Galaxy S2 LTE’ android phone for South Korea, where SK telecom will take the distribution honors.

Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE version is an upgraded version of original Galaxy S2, and that’s not just limited to LTE. Galaxy SII LTE specifications, as rumored, include: 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 9.5 mm thick body, 16 GB storage space, 8 MP camera capable of 1080p recording, HDMI support via MHL cable, etc. There is no mention of 1 GB RAM and 2 MP front facing cam, but we suppose these would easily make it to final spec sheet.

Pricing and Release Date are still unknown but we think it’s not very far — a couple of months at best.
