Looming Winter: Step-by-step guide
Step 1
Speak with Lynn who will give you your first task as a Phoxhunter.
Step 2
Reach right outside the town following the objective "Speak with Clive" where you will be ambushed by Snow Wolves.
Step 3
After you defeat all the Snow Wolves, Clive will arrive and a cutscene will trigger.
Step 4
Meet with Rhythm who will give you a fishing task.
Step 5
Catch three fish from the nearby pond.
Step 6
After successfully catching 3 fishes, head to Mist Aken where you'll see Margie.
Step 7
Meet up with Clive after which you'll be heading into the sewers.
Step 8
Proceed further into the tunnels. After turning the valve to drain the water, prepare for an ambush from a swarm of Filthoids.
Step 9
Once you’ve defeated the Filthoids, follow the checkpoint to the Mannequin Area, where you’ll need to investigate and search for clues.
Step 10
After examining the lower area, press the button to lower the platforms and form a stairway leading upward.
Step 11
Continue climbing the stairway until you reach the final button, which will trigger a cutscene.
Step 12
After the cutscene, regroup with the others on the ground floor and begin repairing the comms terminal.

Once the comms terminal is repaired, a boss fight will be triggered.

Take the Perpetrator down carefully. Keep moving to avoid its fast dash attacks—roll or sidestep as it winds up, then punish the recovery. After defeating the Perpetrator, proceed to Fischer’s secret base. Once there, interact with the radio and decipher it several times to advance the mission.

After decoding the radio signals, head outside the base and speak with Rhythm. This conversation will trigger a second encounter with the Perpetrator, so prepare for another intense boss fight.

After dealing some damage to the Perpetrator, a cutscene will play revealing his true identity — Blues Fischer, Rhythm’s younger brother, marking the end of this quest.
