You first meet Xiao the Healer on a rocky ledge north of Crimson Cliff in Qinghe. He appears afflicted with uncontrollable laughter and asks you to retrieve three vials needed for a cure. Once the quest starts, the search area opens around Crimson Cliff and its surrounding hills.

1 - Fragrant Vial location: near the bandit camp southwest of Crimson Cliff
This vial is the easiest to spot.
- Travel southwest from Crimson Cliff
- You’ll find a small enemy camp
- Defeat the enemies guarding the area
- The vial rests near pots and containers inside the camp
2 - Sour Vial location: inside the bird nest northeast of Crimson Cliff
This vial is the most commonly missed one.
- Move northeast toward the cliffside above Crimson Cliff
- Look for a bird nest with visible eggs
- Interact with the nest to collect the vial
3 - Smelly Vial location: on the rocky ledge with a bear west of Crimson Cliff
This vial is slightly more dangerous due to a nearby enemy.
- Head west toward a raised rocky ledge
- A wild bear patrols the area
- Defeat the bear or clear the area safely
- The vial lies on the rock surface close to where the bear roams
After getting all 3 vials, return to Xiao the Healer and hand over all three vials to complete the quest.
