Update [April 08, 2017]: The popular messaging app, Line, has been updated to version 7.2.1. The update introduces the new Friends tab, which will let you preview recently updated profiles. New effects and filers are also making its way to Video calling with this update. On top of that, there are several under the hood stability and performance improvements too.
LINE is the perfect example of how small our world actually is. The app was originally developed in Korea but with the intent of catering to users in Japan. Interestingly, LINE also caters to the gaming community. It is the go to choice for various players due to its feature rich stickers and their translator bots.
The best thing about LINE is that they never seem satiated with their features and are always on the lookout for something new. The recent update brings some major changes to the LINE app.
The update adds support for mentioning a specific friend in a group conversation to save everyone those, “Who did he say that to?” moments. Interestingly, the app also aims to get on with the latest trend by adding 360-degree support for photos. The feature sure is useful if you’re into VR stuff and love experiencing every moment to its fullest.
The app also added some miscellaneous changes like improving notification messages for incoming calls, enabling users to send files in chats and improvements in the quality of videos sent in chat.
Have some friends waiting for you on LINE? Wish to try out the new features for yourself? Want to send meaningless stickers to your near and dear ones?
