It’s the age of dual-core phones, so I guess another sweet slim device form LG, which produced the world’s first dual-core phone in Optimus 2X, would be a good feed for weekend. We’re talking about the LG Optimus EX, which is reportedly just 9.6 mm thick and takes clues from Optimus Black on aesthetics — only for good.
The Korean website Citizen.com recently received the press images of LG Optimus EX — the latest dual-core Smartphone from LG that will be released shortly in Korea, and will house NVidia’s ‘Tegra 2’ dual-core processor with latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board.
LG Optimus EX specifications:
- 1.2GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 8GB internal memory and yes, there is a slot ot expand on it
- 4-inch IPS NOVA display with resolution of 800×480 pixels
- Just 9.6mm thick
- 5MP rear in back and 0.3MP front facing camera
- Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
It’s pretty good specs wise but it would be cruel if didn’t mention its good looks and two color tone design — which makes device to watch for if you’re keen on looks. Optimus EX is said to launch in two colors: Balck (with silver touch) and White (with shades of gold). Pretty impressive designs to me!
The launch date and price of Optimus EX are yet to be announced, but think we’ll hear about it soon, along with official word on specifications discussed above. Keep watching this space and let us know how many of you are looking forward to it.
