We already have heard the rumor that LG’s Nexus 4 might be getting released on the October 29th, and now Korean newspaper Chosun Biz is reporting that Google will indeed be releasing the Nexus 4 to the public next week, though they didn’t mention any specific date.
It is possible that Google will only announce the Nexus 4 next week instead of releasing it, but considering that the Nexus 4 and its pictures and details have already leaked in full glory, the latter could be more probable. According to Chosun Biz, an LG official said that Google has decided to go with LG for the next Nexus instead of Samsung due to the latter being under attack from Apple regarding patent infringements, which sounds quite reasonable to be fair. Details of a Nexus device being made by Sony have also surfaced, another pointer to the fact that Google is looking to work with other manufacturers.
Chosun Biz has been known to provide accurate information on such rumors in the past, so we might indeed see the LG Nexus 4 get released next week. Here’s hoping that it at least gets officially announced, as rumors have now reached fever pitch and Google would do well to make some official announcements to turn those rumors into fact, or dismiss them altogether.
