LG K8 2017 for Verizon has been just cleared by the Bluetooth SIG indicating the fact that its launch is nearing. The news comes hot on the heels of K8’s launch for the US Cellular yesterday.

Coming in with the model number LG-VS501, the LG K8 2017 is the latest iteration of the K8 series. As per the specs, the smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD display and a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset teamed with 1.5GB of RAM. In terms of memory, the handset packs 16GB of onboard storage space which can be expanded further provided you have a microSD card.

For the photography enthusiasts, the smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP shooter at the front for selfies. The device is 4G LTE ready and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The entire package is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.

T-Mobile first launched the LG K8 2017 under a different moniker called the LG Aristo back in January. Now that Bluetooth SIG has cleared the Verizon variant of the LG K8 2017, it’s only a matter of time until it is made available.
