What to know

  • Leapers do not instantly respawn at the same spot after being killed
  • New Leapers can spawn again in the same raid after a cooldown
  • Respawns are tied to zones, time, and player movement
  • This allows limited farming, but not infinite looping

Leapers are one of the most dangerous ARC enemies you’ll face in ARC Raiders, and understanding how their respawn mechanics work can save you from unnecessary deaths—or help you plan efficient farming routes and even complete the Damage the Leapers Weekly Trial. Here’s a complete breakdown of whether Leapers respawn, how it happens, and what it means for your runs.

Do Leapers Respawn in ARC Raiders

Leapers operate on a zone-based spawn system rather than a traditional enemy respawn-on-death model. When you defeat a Leaper, that specific enemy is gone for good.

However, the game can later introduce a new Leaper in the same area or nearby zone if certain conditions are met. This is why it can seem like they are respawning, almost instantly, but infact, they are just new Leapers.

AspectHow it works
Instant respawnNo
Respawn during same raidYes, after a cooldown
Fixed spawn pointsYes
Affected by movementYes
FarmableLimited, but possible

Can you farm Leapers intentionally?

Yes, but with limitations.

Leapers can be farmed within a single raid by rotating between known spawn-heavy zones and allowing enough time for encounters to refresh. That said, this is not an infinite or fast loop.

Leaper's best farming locations

  • Blue Gate by the Olive Grove
  • Dam Sewer pipe connecting Red Lake
  • Electromagnetic storm on dam between research & administration
  • Dam Western Elevator
  • Water Treatment Plant

Other than this, Leapers are open-world ARC enemies; therefore, look out for them everywhere you go for raids. Because Leapers are relatively rare and high-value, understanding their spawn timing helps you maximize kills before extraction.

Option 1
Option 2

The Leaper is one of ARC Raiders’ most dangerous and rewarding enemies. It can quickly overwhelm players caught in the open. Its aggressive leaps and shockwave attacks make it a constant threat, but with smart tactics - like using cover, targeting weak points, and using fire-based weapons - players can turn the tables and claim valuable loot. Defeating a Leaper not only secures rare materials for crafting and upgrades but also marks a major step forward in your progression.
