Like the Google Pixel 3, a lot about the Google Pixel 3 Lite has been out here in the build-up to its launch in the coming weeks.
In the latest round of leaks, a Ukrainian outlet has published a video of the phone’s “pre-production unit”, giving us our best look yet at the device alongside the specifications to expect.

The video basically confirms most of what has been said before about the Pixel 3 Lite. We are looking at a plastic-made handset with a visible glass shade on the upper side and a yellow power button.
On the bottom side of the phone are two speaker grills on either side of a USB-C port while the SIM card slot can be seen on the left-hand side of the device. Unlike the premium Pixel 3, you get a 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge.
The top bezel is also pretty clean as it lacks a second speaker and a secondary selfie camera to add to the primary 8MP unit. On the back, though, you still get a 12.2MP lens that is said to take the same quality of photos as the Pixel 3. You can check out some samples of the photos captured using the Pixel 3 Lite here.
For the internals, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset allied to 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Whether there will be a second storage option is unknown. The LCD display panel is 5.56 inches in size and has a 1080p resolution with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Keeping it alive will be a 2,915mAh battery.
Running Android 9 Pie out of the box, the Pixel 3 Lite is said to arrive after the Google I/O 2019, which doesn’t match previous reports pegging the launch date this spring. But then again, all of these are unconfirmed reports, so we just have to wait and see.
