As each day passes and brings us closer to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) scheduled in late February this year, more and more specs of the new HTC flagship, the HTC Endeavor seem to be coming out, making us drool as we wait and hope that it does get announced at the MWC as rumored.
Previous rumors had it that the Endeavor would have a quad-core processor powering it, and it now seems to have been confirmed that it might indeed be a quad-core Tegra 3 Nvidia clocked at 1.5 Ghz. Furthermore, it will be sporting a 4.7″ Super LCD display of HD resolution instead of the AMOLED display previously rumored. Also, despite the images of the Endeavor that are making the rounds on the internet showing keys at the bottom of the phone, it might actually have on-screen buttons the likes of which are seen on the Galaxy Nexus and are a part of the standard Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 interface, which is the Android version the Endeavor is supposed to ship with.
The HTC Endeavor will also be sporting the Beats by Dr. Dre audio technology like the HTC Sensation XE and Sensation XL (good news for audio lovers). A 1800 mAh battery will be powering the device to take care of all the power under the hood, though it’s still unconfirmed whether it will be removable or not.
Well, all the ‘confirmed’ specs might or might not turn out to be true. All we can do is wait for the official announcement and hope that the HTC Endeavor turns out to be exactly the beast as they would currently have us believe. With the MWC drawing closer and closer, I guess we’ll find out soon enough. Until then, drool on!
