We’ve already seen some cool HTC Desire 626 pictures, including the one above, and now we’re treated with exactly what we wanted to feast on so desperately: HTC Desire 626 specs. We’re certainly looking at one cool phone that this segment of era-defining mobile industry was in dire need of.
The HTC Desire 626 spec-sheet consists of a 1.7GHz octa-core MT6752 processor from MediaTek and 2GB RAM that make sure your experience with the device is smooth and snappy. There is a 13 megapixel camera strapped on the back of HTC Desire 626, while that in the front is no less, it’s full 5 megapixel shooter.
You’ll find a 5″ HD display on HTC Desire 626, and that means PPI of 293. If you’ve seen Asus Zenfone 5’s 5″ IPS display, think of a similar one here too — we don’t think HTC would slap a TFT display on this otherwise great phone. The internal storage of the HTC Desire 626 is touted to be 16 GB, while there must be a support for microSD card, that could extend the storage to up to 64GB.
It appears there will be two variants of Desire 626, the other one being CU model, which will sport a lesser 1GB RAM and 1.2GHz quad-core processor while other specs would remain same.
Lastly, a somewhat-meager 2000 mAh battery powers the HTC Desire 626, while you can expect the 626 to come with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed, with Lollipop update coming soon later on.
