Leaked: Galaxy S9+ to cost a whopping €1000

Samsung Galaxy S9 Titanium Gray

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S9 and S9+ over the weekend, a day before the Mobile World Congress 2018 begins on Monday, 26th. Up to now, we know just about everything there is to know regarding the two phones – apart from the price.

The only things remaining are for Samsung to unveil the phones and give us the official price and availability details. But even before this happens, notorious leaker Evan Blass has details of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ prices for the European market.

Given his track record coupled with previous rumors that the S9 pair will be subject to a price increment in all markets, it’s not hard to believe what Blass has found out. Apparently, the Galaxy S9 will be yours for €841 while the S9+ will set you back a cool €997.

The price difference between the two was expected given what has been touted for the S9+ in comparison to the standard S9. In addition to the usual differences of screen size and battery capacity, the S9+ will also get two extra gigs of RAM and a dual-lens camera. Pre-orders will reportedly begin on February 28.

Samsung will be at the MWC on Sunday to launch the Galaxy S9 and S9+, which is when we’ll get all details verified.
