Lava Z25 launched in India for price of INR 18,000

Indian OEM, Lava, has a moderate presence in the Indian smartphone community with the company focusing more on budget and basic handsets. The company today, launched the Lava Z25 smartphone in India with the smartphone set to be Lava’s flagship.

In terms of performance, the Z25 carries a mid range specsheet. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 1.5GHz octa-core chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone runs on a 3020mAh battery pack, with Lava boasting 5 hours of talk time on 15% of charge. Lava managed to keep the device moderately slim at 8.5mm too.

The front of the Lava Z25 features a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display. This does lower the pixel density to 267PPI but benefits by not draining the battery too much. So, you can expect decent battery life, theoretically at least. There’s also a pretty fast fingerprint sensor on the back of the device which boasts an unlocking time of 0.16 seconds.
