The Korean Galaxy S3 has gone official, with carriers SK Telecom and Korea Telecom announcing the release date as June and July respectively.

SK Telecom will release the 3G variant in June, followed by the LTE variant in July, while Korea Telecom will be launching only the LTE version in July. And as the rumor mill churned out a couple of days ago, the Korean Galaxy S3 will probably have the exclusive 2GB of RAM, as well as the 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor despite having 4G LTE support. Other specs will remain the same, including a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, 16/32GB internal storage, 8 megapixel camera, and a 2100 mAh battery.

SK Telecom will start taking pre-orders for the S3 from tomorrow, and will provide discounts to owners of the Galaxy S or Galaxy S2 who decide to buy the Galaxy S3. Pre-orders will however be limited to 5000 consumers. Stay tuned for more info, including exact release dates as well as the pricing.
