Motorola has published release notes for June 2019 security patch meant for the Moto Z2 Play in the U.S.
The changelog is available on the official Moto Z2 Play support page for the U.S. market, but it doesn’t mean the rollout has begun. In fact, with the notes having just been published, it’ll definitely take several days before every Z2 Play unit gets this new security patch.
It’s worth noting that the Moto Z2 Play is eligible for an update to Android 9 Pie, but the upcoming update is still based on Oreo. Motorola is expected to bring Pie to the Z2 Play before the end of this quarter.
