Motorola has started rolling out an update for the Moto One in the United Kingdom, bringing the July 2019 security patch to the mid-range device.
The update, which carries software version PPKS29.68-16-36-5, only updates the device’s security patch level to July 1st, 2019 and does not bring any visual changes to the system.
As part of Google’s Android One program, the Moto One is guaranteed to get regular security updates for three years. The phone will also get Android OS updates for two years, including Android Q.
If your Motorola One hasn’t received an automatic update notification yet, you can look for the update manually by going into Settings, tapping on System, selecting Advanced, and finally touching System Updates.
