LG’s 2017 offering, the X Power2, might soon make its way to US Cellular network. A LG product with model number LG-US701, touted to be LG X Power2, has made an appearance on US certification site FCC.
Although the FCC listing does not reveal the product name, all pointers are directed towards LG’s last month released smartphone X Power2. LG K8, already available on the US Cellular network, carries the model number US215 while G6 is expected to be released soon on the carrier as US99X model number (notably, G5 was US992). Thus, the LG X Power2 is the only device among the latest LG phones that is yet to arrive at US Cellular.
Another pointer is that the predecessor of LG X Power2, the X Power was identified as US610, which makes us conclude that the device listed on FCC for US Cellular release is indeed X Power2.
