Vivo has started rolling out Funtouch OS 15, its custom Android skin now based on Android 15, to eligible devices. The update package comes in at 894 MB and carries the version number PD2408F_EX_A_15.0.13.9.W30. If you don’t manually install it, the system will schedule the upgrade automatically between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. when your phone is idle.
The update adds the August 2025 Google security patch and fixes the issue with apps crashing when opened in split-screen mode. Other than that, the update fixes network issues, optimizes dark mode, and issues with lock screen wallpaper not displaying properly in some cases.
Of course, to round of the update, we have the usual stuff like better stability, performance, and security.
While the update doesn’t introduce flashy new features, it brings so-so refinements that should make daily use more reliable.
