Ever found yourself short on storage space while installing a custom ROM or when flashing a GApps package on Redmi 1S? Well, this is because the device comes with mere 800MB of internal storage.
But thanks to user freeshared hot tip, you can increase the internal system storage space to up 1.2GB on the device with a pretty long but fairly easy hack.
What you need to do is install/flash the 1.2GB repartition script to your device first using PhilZ recovery and then flash TWRP recovery to convert the partition to F2Fs to fix the newly created partition from PhilZ.
Of course, you’ll need a lengthy to better understand the whole process, and freeshared has posted over at xda. So just follow instructions on the XDA thread carefully and you should have a 1.2GB system space available within no time on Redmi 1S.
Happy Androiding!
