You weren’t really expecting the Android 4.1 update to start rolling out so soon, were you? Good, because the latest update that the AT&T Galaxy S3 is receiving over-the-air to software version UCLH9 is only a small 82MB update that includes a couple of changes.

The update adds a brightness slider to the notifications menu, and according to Android Central forums members, it also adds a few VPN and enterprise security enhancements. Nothing major, but hey, it’s an update and there’s no way you’re going to say no to it, right? Besides, that brightness slider can be quite useful to change display brightness on the fly without needing to go into the display settings. Samsung is clearly the only manufacturer that understands the advantages of toggles in the status bar, something which other manufacturers would do well to copy.

You should get a notification for the update, but you can also manually check for it from the Settings » About phone » Software update menu.
