Huawei’s Honor branch has announced that the View 10 will be coming to the U.S. later this year. This news was made public at CES 2018 in a press conference held by the company, which also saw the release of a new limited edition Red variant of the Huawei Honor 7X targeting Valentine’s Day lovebirds.
The Huawei Honor View 10 was announced in December 2017 and it had yet to start selling in a good number of Honor markets. Still, Honor did not give out any specific release date or even the expected price tag in the U.S. However, the phone’s price in Malaysia, where it’s expected to start selling later this month – alongside Russia – is RMB 3,000, which translates to about $460.
For this price tag, the Honor View 10 gives you a 5.99-inch LCD display with full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio, a powerful Kirin 970 chipset and Android Oreo with the trademark EMUI skin on top. There are two RAM and storage options of 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB alongside a 16MP+20MP dual-lens camera on the back, 13MP selfie shooter, a huge 3750mAh battery and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. Not bad huh!
As for the limited edition Red Honor 7X, availability should begin in a few weeks’ time in several markets, including the US, Europe and India. Apparently, only 20,000 units will be sold and for the first 100, they’ll be accompanied by Honor co-branded Monster AM15 earphones.
