Huawei has released a new update for its P8, beginning with Thailand where the update is already live, which comes with software version C363B36140. The full build no. with device’s model no. is GRA-UL00C363B36140.
The update is sized over 425 MB, and aims to solve the issue with contacts, where the device will take long time to populate the contacts list after an update.
The update also seeks to brings more stability to your P8’s system with little boost in performance too, while also installing latest Google security patches (July/August?).
Open the Settings app, and look for the system update now to check if your device is eligible for it, and if not, it should be in some time.

When could Huawei P8 get Nougat update?
Well, released last year only, the Huawei P8 deserves some Nougat love for sure. We’ve already seen an Android 7.0 firmware leak for Huawei P9, so once that is out for the P9, the P8’s Nougat affair will begin, and we hope it gets the update released by February 2017.
