Update: It seems like HTC has finally added the option to toggle ‘Active Noise Cancellation’ feature On/Off while playing music on the HTC U11.

HTC’s recently launched flagship handset aka the HTC U11 is receiving a new software update in Poland.

The update which is currently being seeded over-the-air (OTA) arrives with the software version 1.11.709.3. Although it doesn’t bring many changes with it except for the system enhancements, the update weighs around 440MB. So, we suggest you rather switch to a stable Wi-Fi network before downloading the update to avoid unnecessary data charges.

Speaking of the changes the update brings along, you can find general bug fixes alongside stability, performance improvements, and system enhancements.

HTC does mention that installing the update won’t delete any of the existing data on your HTC U11. We, however, recommend you to keep a backup handy should things go otherwise.

Also, fret not, if you don’t see the update on your device right away. It generally takes a while for the update to reach all the handsets. If you want to check for it manually, you can click on Settings > About Device > Software Updates.
