After US and UK, the HTC U11 Solar Red is now up for pre-order in India. The device carries a price tag of Rs 51,990.

HTC will start shipping the Solar Red HTC U11 to pre-ordered customers in India by August 26th. Also, as an offer the Taiwanese OEM is giving a free 20W car charger with every purchase of Solar Red HTC U11.

HTC launched its flagship U11 phone in May. At the time of its launch it was shown in five colors — Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, Ice White, and Solar Red. But in India, it has been available only in Blue and Silver hues. To this is now added the Solar Red variant.

Carrying an in-built memory of 128GB, the HTC U11 will be shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. It tucks in an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 underneath.  It comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

The phone is equipped with a 5.5-inch Super LCD 5 QHD display with a layer of 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The imaging department is taken care of by a 12MP rear camera and a 16MP selfie snapper. The lights are kept on by a 3,000mAh battery.

The highlight of the HTC U11 is the Edge Sense feature which allows you to squeeze on the edges of the phone to invoke different functionalities. It also comes with IP67 certification which makes it resistant to dust and water.
