HTC U Ultra, the first smartphone in the company’s all new U series is receiving a software update in China which brings performance improvements to the smartphone.
The update is being currently pushed over-the-air and arrives with the software version 1.62.1405.1 to install the latest security patch on the smartphone. In terms of size, the update weighs in around 350MB which is not very usual for a security patch.
As is the case with security patches, the update should also contain fixes to existing bugs. Like mentioned above, the new software update is being rolled out OTA, and it could take a while for the update to reach your handset.
