HTC’s premium device, the U Ultra, is set for release in Australia on March 8th. In fact, the phone is up for pre-order online on Vodafone Australia site. The carrier is selling the high end smartphone at a minimum cost of $2,112 over 24 months period. For each month, you will be required to shell $8 for the U Ultra and $80 for Vodafone’s MyMix Red plan which totals to $88.
The announcement about the March 8th release and pre-order was made by HTC Australia through its Twitter handle as seen below.

For students, Vodafone is giving 10% off access fees on this plan. All one needs to do is , select student under occupation and add student ID in checkout. Other also can avail free access fees for first 2 months when signing up to this plan with the HTC U Ultra. However, the student offer ends on April 11th and for others it ends on May 9th.

HTC U Ultra reflects U beautifully with its sophisticated new liquid surface and sports dual screen. The second screen sits above the 5.7-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display. It is powered by 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 paired with 4GB of RAM. It packs in 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. On the camera front, it has a 12-Ultrapixel rear and a 16MP selfie shooter. Powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat.
The HTC U Ultra, which was launched in January 2017, has made its way into India and the European market as well.
