HTC’s two premium smartphones- HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play are now on sale in the UK via Carphone Warehouse. The price for the unlocked (SIM free) HTC U Ultra is £649.99 while HTC U Play unlocked version costs £399.99.
One can get hold of a HTC U Ultra with 5GB data at the upfront cost of £79.99 on Vodafone carrier and at a cost of £40.99 per month on EE carrier. On the other hand, the HTC U Play is available on O2 carrier with 3GB data for free at £28.50 per month.
In terms of color options, Carphone Warehouse is offering four choices for both the phones- Blue, Pink, White and an exclusive Black.
The high-end HTC U Ultra phone sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, Qualcomm MSM8996 quad-core Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.15 GHz. The RAM on board is 4GB and it is available in two storage variants- 64GB and 128B. On the imaging front, it flaunts 12MP rear camera and 16MP front shooter with LED flash. The phone has a 3000 mAh battery and is shipped with Android Nougat.

HTC U Play has scratch-resistant 5.2-inch full HD screen. It is powered by 2 GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB native storage expandable up to 128GB via microSd card. The phone is equipped with 16MP/16MP camera combo and a 2500 mAh battery. The OS on board is Android Marshmallow.
Notably, both the phones come with AI HTC Sense Companion and fingerprint scanners.
