It was not until yesterday, that a massive leak surrounding the HTC’s upcoming flagship, the HTC U surfaced online. Said to be called Ocean internally, the smartphone is back in the limelight again today, as rumors are picking up the pace.

HTC U, the company’s next premium offering was spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking site revealing some of the key specs of the smartphone. In line with Blass’s claims, the AnTuTu listing reveals that the HTC U will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, which will team up with Adreno 540 GPU to take care of graphics.

In terms of memory, the device will be armed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage space.

Although the listing doesn’t reveal the display size, it does mention that HTC U will offer a WQHD (1400 x 2560 pixels) display which is what earlier rumors also claimed. It also suggests that the smartphone will feature a 16MP, a 12MP camera for the photography enthusiasts.

The HTC U will, of course, run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. The listing doesn’t reveal much other than the details mentioned above. However, yesterday’s leak gave us a pretty good insight on what to expect from the device. You can check out the story here.
