Until the last week everyone’s attention was on the HTC One M9 and on the rollout of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the yesteryear’s flagship model, One M8. Now, the focus has turned towards the One M7 and its update schedule.
Well, there were reports suggesting that the update will soon rollout for the One M7 units of T-Mobile. Also, the update was rolled out in the European regions in the last week and it was also announced by T-Mobile for USA.
Today, the official HTC USA Twitter handle has tweeted that T-Mobile One M7 users have started receiving the Lollipop update. It also claimed that there is no official information regarding the arrival of Sense 7 UI.
However, users of the T-Mobile HTC One M7 have commented have taken on a Reddit forum to claim that there are no signs of an update on their smartphones. Many users have commented that they have been checking their One M7 every now and then for the OTA update to pop up. You can check the arrival of the update by heading on to Settings –> About Phone -> Software Updates -> Check Now.
Notably, the Android 5.0.2 update that was rolled out to the One M7 units in Europe measures 800 MB.
