HTC has just announced their first device with a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor – the One XC – in China at the Chinese Telecommunications Fair. It was earlier expected that the Droid Incredible X would be the first HTC device with that beast of a processor, but apparently it was not to be.

The One XC packs a 4.7-inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera with F/2.0 aperture and 28mm wide lens, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which should be kept running extremely smoothly thanks to the powerful Snapdragon Pro chipset.

Before you get too excited, keep in mind that the One XC may not make it out of China, though we can expect a similar international variant for other markets. If not, the Droid Incredible X is surely coming some day or the other, so we need not be so sad about the One XC not leaving China.

There is no info yet on when the One XC will be released or how much it will cost, but we should hear about those in the near future.
