When it comes to pushing out latest Android updates, HTC isn’t a name you’d call with respect. The manufacturer has often declined or delayed major Android updates to its older devices, even the ones that could effortlessly run the latest release of Android.

The HTC One Max won’t get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update officially from HTC, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to run the freshest release of Android on your One Max.

Developer Flyhalf205 over at xda has an unofficial build of CM13 ready for the HTC One Max that you can install right now, but since it’s in development stage at this moment, we would recommend you to stay off from the ROM if you intent to use it as a daily driver. It just ain’t ready for that yet.

Check out list below for known issues/bugs on the ROM.

– RIL/Radio
– Wi-Fi signal isn’t as strong as Sense rom but has become more
– GPS partly broken
