Earlier this month, HTC announced the One M9, its flagship smartphone, but the firm did not mention anything regarding the rumored HTC One M9 Plus. The handset was leaked a lot with the codename HTC Hima Ultra and it was claimed to arrive with a MediaTek processor and a home button as in Samsung devices.

Now, it appears like the One M9+ will soon be launched officially. As per the Twitter bound leakster, the variant of the firm’s flagship smartphone will be going official in the end of this month or beginning of April. It is claimed that the One M9+ will be the final moniker of the device.

Going by the reports, the HTC One M9+ will be using a 64 bit octa core MediaTek MT6795 processor paired with a 3 GB of RAM. The device is said to flaunt a 5.2 inch WQHD display and bundle 32 GB of native memory capacity. Claimed to arrive with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop topped with Sense 7.0 UI, the device will boast of a touch based finger print sensor at the front.

The imaging aspects of the One M9+ will comprise 20.7 MP and 2.1 MP snappers at its back with Duo Camera arrangement and a 13 MP front facing selfie snapper for video conferencing. The other aspects of the device will include BoomSound, Bluetooth 4.1 and a 2,840 mAh battery to keep things juiced up.

Previously, the source revealed that the device will arrive with a Snapdragon processor in the EMEA/USA regions, but it appears to have been cancelled. Now, it looks like the One M9+ will employ the MediaTek processor even in the Asian regions.
