HTC has just launched the Dragon series of phones in China, which consist of three Ice Cream Sandwich running phones, each made for a different carrier. With China being the huge mobile market that it is right now, it’s no wonder that every manufacturer is releasing new phones in China to get a piece of the Chinese telecom market.

The main attraction of the trio is the HTC VT T328t (pictured above) which will be available through China Mobile, and will be sporting a 1 GHz single-core processor (probably the Qualcomm CPU used in the HTC One V and other single-core HTC phones), 512 MB of RAM, a 4-inch S-LCD screen with WVGA (480×800) resolution, 4 GB of internal memory, a 5 MP camera, and Beats Audio. Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 will be the Android OS version, with HTC’s Sense 4.0 flavouring on top.

The other two devices (pictured below) are the HTC VC T328d and the HTC V T328w, for China Telecom and China Unicom, respectively. They have similar specs as the VT T328t, but feature dual SIM support and different hardware designs.

The price of only the T328w is known for now, which will be going on sale for 1,999 yuan (about $318). All three handsets are expected to be available for purchase at the end of April. Pricing for the other two handsets should be revealed soon enough as the release date comes near. Of course, we’ll keep you updated on future developments. Oh, and good luck trying to remember the names of the three devices.
